HAVOK in HOLLYWOOD is theatrical, sleezy, in your face arena rock with enough power to keep a room shaking all night long!

Maryland-based HAVOK in HOLLYWOOD has surged to the forefront of the east coast’s heavy rock bands, building a large, cult-like following through DIY promotion and delivering a live show reminiscent of rock gods Guns-N-Roses and Motley Crue.

Touring independently since 2001, the band has played the legendary HFStival two years in a row, sharing the stage with the likes of Foo Fighters, AFI, Counting Crows, LA Guns, Joan Jett, Coldplay, Dashboard Confessional, The Strokes, Billy Idol, Sum 41, Garbage, Bullet for My Valentine, Kill Hannah, and Good Charlotte along the way.

HAVOK in HOLLYWOOD has also had their music selected by the Baltimore Ravens for their stadium play list and MTV hand-picked several of the band’s tracks for the Real World/Road Rules Challenge.

With 95,000+ friends on their MySpace account and thousands of independent CD sales already under their belt, the band has just released their new record, “The Dawn of Addiction”. Teaming with producer Steve Wright, HAVOK in HOLLYWOOD entered the studio challenging themselves to compose a timeless record drawn off of the band’s diverse influences and real-life experiences. The result is an honest, unapologetic fusion of glam rock attitude, tasteful shredding, and rock anthems for generations to come. The album’s first single, “Bonnie & Clyde”, has already been added at WHFS 105.7, WWDC 101.1 FM and WIYY 97.9 in Maryland. HAVOK in HOLLYWOOD has become one of the most-requested and most-played artists at WRXS 106.9 in Delmarva, regularly receiving 50+ spins a week. They have also just graced the pages of the August issue of Guitar World Magazine.

As the ground swell continues, “The Dawn of Addiction” 2007 nationwide tour has launched, as the band brings their infectious, energetic live show to the masses.
